The computer information system manager is often the hands-on trouble shooter for the company as he is the first to respond to all the issues regarding the technology. Their works involve setting up new networks, monitoring or developing databases that are used within the network, adding up new users to the existing one and many more. Also computer information system technology has become very important these days as the world continues to adapt more and more towards as information based managing stream.

There are many universities and colleges giving the education on this information system management and imparts the advanced technical knowledge that is needed in computer information system in future. This in turn prepares a student for system analyst or computer supporter.
