Make my own website
You must be thinking; how can I make my own website without studying computer science and the latest programming languages for so many years? Now you do not have to study for years and waste huge money on your computer studies to make a website with notepad. You can do create all things including make a website background, body and that too using a simple notepad. I agree, its a bit unbelievable but is completely true and made possible today. And if you are thinking on how do you move ahead with the basics, then here are a few points that will help you. Here are the steps to make a website:
To start off with copy the following HTML code into notepad. Be sure to copy the code exactly, otherwise your web page may not function correctly.
<html>
<head>
</head>
<body>
<h2> my first webpage</h2>
</body>
</html>
My own website
Now just fill in the contents to it. Have you ever thought I will be able to make my own website so easily? Now you must be thinking how ugly it would look without a background. Here are the simple steps to make a website background:
- Open a 100×100px document in Photoshop.
- Make a circle of about 10×10p and fill it with a dark gray color (make sure it isn’t black) by clicking on the foreground color, and the alt + delete.
- Now give the circle an inner shadow. On the layers palette click on the circle with “f” in it and go to inner shadow.
- Do control + J to duplicate the layer and move it over to the left. Duplicate the layer again and move it up to the top.
- Continue duplicating and moving until you get something like this.
- Click and drag the ruler and drag four guides, so they are in the middle of the circles.
- Click on your background layer and change the color to #CCCCCC. This will give a darker feel to it.
- Go to your layers palette, click on the right arrow on the top right and click flatten image.
- Go to your rectangular marquee tool and make a box using the guides. Now go to edit>define pattern. Call it metal pattern and click OK.
That’s it; your website background is done.
