As we all know network security wireless is becoming important these days. But then think about sometimes ago, computers were a luxury rather than a necessity. And the only lucky and healthy people had one at their home and further the network was something reserved for larger corporations.

But now things has change computer has just become a necessity for the people and almost everyone own a computer. And with this, the advent of internet also took place. All the home users are now moving to access the internet form dial-up internet connections to broadband connections. And with this, World Wide Web have explored into our culture replacing other media forms for the people as now they find news, sports, weather, recipes and millions of other things. But with this network and security also becomes a question. Many hacker search for an insecure wireless connection can get into your systems from anywhere near you. So you just have to be smart about it and take safety measures to make much more difficult for the seeker to find your personal stuff; which means to create wireless network security.

Network wireless security is the prevention of unauthorized access or damage to your systems using wireless networks. And by far the most important thing which can be used to secure your wireless network is the usage of encryption. Almost every wireless access point has some encryption device built in it. Most access points offer WEP encryption and also newer points such as WEP and WPA.

Most of the people advise to use WEP encryption. This is much better than having no encryption. And when the hacker finds your network is encrypted with WEP, they will surly move on than spending on weeks to capture enough data to decrypt WEP. The only negative aspect you can have is that it can be bit complicated to set if you are not the technical type.
